Digital Health Technology Workshop
Learn about the latest and greatest advancements in digital health technology and their applications.
This workshop is designed for anyone who is interested in learning about digital health technologies and implementing them into their practice.
Approach
This course is available online or in person and can be taken individually or with a group.
It is based on the concept of learning by doing and includes many hands-on, project-based tasks.
Each student is assigned a mentor or educator to work with as they apply their learning to individual projects or case studies.
In-class learning is supplemented with self-assessments on the Pingoo micro-learning app to ensure proper review and retention of course content.

Workshop description
Digital health technologies are a critical part of the precision health field. This workshop will provide an overview of established and emerging digital health technologies, including DNA sequencing, telehealth, mobile technology, sensors, wearables, and artificial intelligence. All of these topics are critical to the field of precision health and provide opportunities to make healthcare more personalized, predictive, and preventative.
At the end of the workshop, participants will have an opportunity to use some of the devices and technologies we’ll cover so that they are better equipped to apply what they’ve learned in their own practice as healthcare professionals, biomedical engineers, business leaders, and more.
